Beautiful. How long did this take you?

That was quick.
I started one yesterday but it got 'skew-whiff' and I could not continue the pattern evenly around the cricle.

Yeah I'm not sure half the time how they come out so evenly but maybe just practice

This is absolutely beautiful, I'm always amazed by the amount of detail you put into your artwork. :) How long does it usually take you to do one of these?

Thank you! This one took a few hours. My older ones, the 18 x 24s, took a couple of days...once i get going though I try to finish in one go round if possible. Otherwise I leave my works unfinished out of frustration haha

Not sure if I've told you before but I'll say it again, your art is very cool. You really capture the feeling of psychedelic experience in your style

Really, that fast? I don't think I could ever draw anything like that in one sitting, I'd get sooo frustrated with all the tiny shapes and lines. I admire your patience!

And thank you so much, I really appreciate that coming from such a great artist like you.

Yeah, I don't map out most of my drawings so its kinda once the marker hits the paper its go time. It is frustrating though so sometimes I'll take weeks in between drawings.

Your welcome! I think its cool that you're bringing in watercolors to the mix as well...I suck at painting. Integrating marker and paint is definitely something I want to try

It's cool that you can make your work so even and symmetrical without mapping out any of it, I tend to obsessively plan my drawings.

Yeah, painting is really difficult to get used to, but now that I've had more practice with it I honestly think I like it more than coloring with markers. And I agree, combining paint and markers would be interesting, that's something I've been considering trying for a while.
